Do not cut over mid-week WIP. Complete these steps before production data moves.

Evaluate
- Login as owner + tech on the seeded demo (or your trial tenant)
- Run intake → DVI/estimate → portal approve → invoice once
- Confirm isolation (other tenant login) if multi-tenant matters
- List only processes that lose you money today

Export from current system
- Customers (name, phone, email, consent flags if any)
- Vehicles (rego, VIN, make/model/year)
- Open repair orders / appointments
- Parts catalogue (SKU, qty, cost) if inventory matters
- Do not plan to migrate full GL history into the workshop OS

Configure Wrench
- Shop timezone, tax defaults, bays, rates
- Invite advisor/tech users (no shared owner login)
- Public book slug if online booking is in scope
- Comms providers (SMTP; SMS keys only when ready)

Cutover
- Freeze new jobs on old system after last bay clears
